Zowat iedereen heeft vandaag een smartphone en door de groei van het aantal elektrische wagens en fietsen beschikken de meeste bedrijven en hotels over een laadpaal.<\/p><p>Eens thuis, op kantoor of op hotel sluiten we onze toestellen via hun lader meteen aan op het elektriciteitsnet. Zo zijn we zeker van een volle batterij. Maar dat is niet zonder risico! De <strong>lithium batterij<\/strong>\u00a0kan op termijn oververhitten en zelfs gaan branden.<\/p><p>Het aantal branden als gevolg van oververhitte lithium batterijen stijgt elk jaar. Bedrijven en hotels hebben het steeds moeilijker om dit soort\u00a0<strong>lithium branden<\/strong> te beheersen. Natuurlijk is voorkomen altijd beter dan genezen. Daarom geven we je tips om lithium branden te vermijden of om de schade te beperken. Zonder verluchting ontstaat er ophoping van waterstofgas. Ventilatie verkleint de kans op ontploffingsgevaar.<\/li><li>Plaats geen brandbare materialen in de buurt van de laadzone. Houd 1 meter afstand.<\/li><li class=\"even\">Stop het opladen zodra de batterij vol is om warmteontwikkeling te voorkomen. Deze kluis is voorzien van een automatische schuimblusser\u00a0en heeft een brandweerstand van 30 minuten.
